The team at McCarver Mechanical has been very professional throughout the whole process of bidding, billing, and installation of our new Daikin heating and cooling system. We chose the Daikin system because the whisper quiet condenser is installed on our patio and near our screened porch - now the noise won’t drive us inside when the a/c kicks on. The installation went very smoothly and right on schedule over two days. The team took extra care to clean up the Rube Goldberg piping of the previous installation. We now have some extra space in the utility room! Everyone on the team is friendly and considerate. We will use McCarver when we replace our secondary system in the near future.

We replaced the all-in-one HWC unit with a Daikin Air Handler coupled with an air-to-air heat pump system, complete with emergency backup heat. This new system operates entirely on electric for heating. By upgrading from 40-year-old technology to this modern setup, the homeowner can expect a 50% improvement in electric efficiency.
I was working as a professional HVAC technician for a company called McCarver Mechanical Heating & Cooling. We were contracted to re-route the supply and return runs for a customer in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. The job was to replace the existing ductwork with new, more efficient ductwork that would provide better airflow and heating and cooling to the customer's home. The first step in the job was to remove the old ductwork and install the new ductwork. This involved cutting holes in the walls, ceilings, and floors of the customer's home and installing the new ducts. We then ran the new ducts through the walls and ceilings and connected them to the new furnace and air conditioner Next, we had to re-route the supply and return runs. This involved cutting holes in the walls and ceilings and running the new ducts through them. We then connected the new ducts to the furnace and air conditioner and tested the system to ensure that it was working properly.
